ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are seeking a passionate and results-driven full-time VR/AR Unity Developer to help build virtual and augmented reality experiences. You’ll work with a dedicated team of designers, artists and engineers to help bring our customers’ creative visions to life. You will be responsible for helping build high-quality, client-ready interactive applications across a variety of platforms while creating the programmatic systems that make this possible. You’ll also be responsible for assembling art, engineering, and other assets provided by the team into a cohesive user experience. You should possess a strong familiarity with Unity, and a proficiency in C# scripting and Visual Studio.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Working with the Creative Services team to hook up and assemble interactive projects.
- Creation and implementation of functionality in collaboration with cross-discipline peers while solving technical & creative problems.
- Creating interaction frameworks that are adaptable to a variety of uses across projects.
- Implementing assets & systems in a manner that allows them to be easily reused.
- Building & deploying projects across a variety of platforms and methods.
- Testing & debugging, utilizing established guidelines for various platforms and consistent user experience.
**WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED: **
- CS Degree, or Game Development Degree
- 2-4 years work experience in a Unity team development environment
- Strong familiarity with Unity & C#
- Experience with version control tools for game/software development
- Solid analytical & problem solving skills
- Excellent cross-disciplinary communication skills
- Experience producing project deliverables for large commercial clients
- Ability to work quickly and accurately
- Effective time management skills and the ability to multitask
- Professional & proactive work ethic
- Eagerness to learn new skills; fast learner
- Experience with any of the following is a plus
- VR/AR Development
- Javascript, Python, or additional programming languages
- Backend web development
- Unreal Engine
- Visual scripting
- iOS app development & deployment
