Lead and manage the Marketing team at Written Word Media
Develop and achieve marketing goals that support the overarching business strategy
Articulate a brand vision for all brands across our portfolio.
Oversee the development and execution of digital marketing efforts (paid marketing, SEO, marketing automation, content marketing, influencer marketing) to grow our reader and author audiences.

Here's What You'll Do:
Manage and develop a team of talented marketers focused on long-term strategy and profitable growth. Provide coaching, training, and resource support for your team.
Own all marketing efforts, including defining and leading the marketing strategy, building and leading the marketing organization, and tying all our efforts into our GTM strategy.
Work closely with the CEO and leadership team to set the company strategy and product roadmap for the organization. Build strong cross-functional relationships across the organization
Report on marketing impact and progress against core business objectives
Develop and implement the digital marketing strategy in support of overall marketing and business initiatives, including inbound and outbound marketing strategies and tactics.
Develop strategic marketing plans and annual budgets.
You’re a Good Fit If:
You have 15+ years of digital marketing experience
You are a team player with experience managing a team
You’re a data-driven thinker and comfortable with measuring marketing performance against CPA targets
You have experience developing a marketing strategy to support company goals
You are highly experienced in different marketing channels (PPC, SEO, Social), and using marketing automation, CRM and analytics tools
You have deep knowledge of online marketing best practices that result in customer/client acquisition, retention, loyalty and growth
You have experience forecasting and reporting KPIs such as revenue, margin, traffic, conversion, AOV, LTV, CAC, etc.
You are a collaborative and resourceful individual who can function at a high level but at the same time roll your sleeves up to do what needs to get done.
