ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a Video Editor with a strong background in 2D motion design to join our Creative Services team in Durham, North Carolina. As a Video Editor at Lucid Dream, you will play a key role in creating visually stunning and engaging video content for our clients in the life sciences industry, leveraging your creativity, critical thinking, and collaborative mindset to raise our standards while meeting tight deadlines.
Our video projects include patient testimonials, physician interviews, scientific explainers, drone filming, 360 VR content, and more. You will work closely with our creative team and project managers to develop graphic-driven storytelling content and bring our video projects to life. The ideal candidate will be a great video editor, a great 2D motion graphics artist, and have a general interest in science.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
Minimum of 3 years of professional video editing experience.
Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.
Experience designing and creating 2D motion design and a desire to grow your animation skills.
A creative and artistic eye for video composition and storytelling.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
Experience with 3D content creation, Maya and/or Unity a plus.
Ability to create / sketch storyboards for video projects is a plus.
