The Red Hat Ansible Automation Product team is looking for a Technical Marketing Intern. As a member of the Ansible Technical Marketing team, you will have exposure to technical sales enablement responsibility, including reviewing and learning to develop technical content for presentations, demonstrations, videos, e-books, conference talks and sales tools that are used by thousands of solutions architects, consultants, and partner presales associates.

What you will do

Primary job responsibilities

  • Learn about the technical features and functions of Ansible Automation Platform.

  • Create external content such as technical demos, blogs, how-to videos, articles, etc.

  • Create, deliver and maintain technical selling materials such as presentations made in Google Slides.

  • Work with internal stakeholders like product management, engineering, sales, and the larger marketing groups to create content aligned with business needs.

  • Work with external customers, technology partners and community members to create compelling stories and case studies.

What you will bring

Required skills

  • Currently pursuing a degree in engineering, computer science or business information systems. If you have graduated, no more than 6 months past your graduation date.

  • Willingness to learn, use, adapt, and teach Ansible.

  • Represent the values of a super fun Red Hat Ansible Technical Marketing team (Kind, Accountable, Open)

  • Knowledge of Linux with fundamentals of modern programming languages such as Python.

  • Knowledge of source control repositories such as GitHub, since demos and sources of content are stored there as code for modularity.

  • Knowledge of open source projects, development processes and methodologies a plus.

  • Work full-time May-August

Pay Transparency

Red Hat determines compensation based on several factors including but not limited to job location, experience, applicable skills and training, external market value, and internal pay equity. Annual salary is one component of Red Hat’s compensation package. This position may also be eligible for bonus, commission, and/or equity. For positions with Remote-US locations, the actual salary range for the position may differ based on location but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
