Deere & Company is seeking a Staff Software Architect in Cary, NC with the following requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or related field plus 10 years related experience. Required skills: Embedded Software Development (C++, C) (5 yrs); Technical experience relating to system engineering, model based design, diagnostics, troubleshooting of Electrical and Embedded software subsystems and Precision Ag technology (5 yrs); Experience with microcontrollers; kernel fundamentals, RTOS, and software architectures (5 yrs); Demonstrated ability to prioritize and align among multiple stakeholder groups (5 yrs); Demonstrated experience with SAFe Agile Framework and certified in SAFe (5 yrs). Must live within normal commuting distance of the worksite and near a major airport. 25% domestic and international travel required.
