If you are a seasoned professional with a strong background in cloud architecture and a deep understanding of AWS services, you just might be the Lythonian we are looking for!
What you'll do here:
- Lead the design and implementation of cloud-based solutions for our platform.
- Collaborate on product direction and strategy, providing technical and industry insights.
- Evaluate and recommend new cloud technologies to advance our product strategy.
- Hands-on coding, debugging, and deploying of the cloud initiatives.
- Mentor junior engineers and guide their work.
What we're looking for:
- 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering or a similar role.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with a team.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS services such as ECS/Fargate, S3, Lambda, RDS, VPC, and more.
- Knowledge of Serverless Architectures, utilizing Lambdas and API gateways.
- Experience with Terraform, as well as other Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- **Candidates must work EST hours**
- Bonus points for:
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional certification.
- Experience with Domain-Driven/Event Driven Design patterns.
- Expertise in one of the following programming languages: Java, C#, TypeScript.
