This business unit is unique, and we certainly aren't afraid to stand out from the crowd and tackle the bigger competitors. As a Software Engineering Manager at ShareFile you will help build the new Client Collaboration experience, by leading and managing 2 teams in this space. This is a highly innovative space that is building out features for client-based processes including native e-signature, Document Workflows, Client Portals and Request List capabilities.
Role Overview:
Now, let's get to the details. This role will have ownership over our Client Collaboration experience and development of reusable components used through-out the ShareFile product suite.  
Key responsibilities:

  • Strategic
  • Drive the Client Collaboration Vision: Partner with key stakeholders to define and execute the vision for our Collaboration platform.
  • Build the Product: Unique opportunity to get in at the ground level to build a product and take it to market.
  • Measure what Matters: Define the KPIs and metrics that matter to help communicate project and team status and identify areas of excellence and improvement.
  • Technologist: Be aware of the newest trends and technologies and drive innovation on the team
  • Build: Build high performing engineering teams by growing talent in the organization and hiring and retaining talent.
  • Execution
  • Incremental Delivery: Continuously deliver value to our customers through frequent releases of meaningful features.
  • Product Ownership: Act not just as a people manager but as a product owner; driving measurable outcomes that improve our customer experience and impact the bottom line.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Establish a regular engagement cadence with critical cross-functional stakeholders such as other engineering teams, IT, sales, marketing, and business operations.
    Your Superhero Uniform Includes:
  • 3+ years managing and running software engineering teams
  • 5+ years experience working with front end technologies, back end programming and databases, both relational and noSQL
  • 5+ years experience in architecture and systems design.
    Your Superhero Strengths Include:
  • The ability to clearly communicate complex technical challenges and solutions to diverse audiences.
  • Meaningful experience with at least one traditionally back-end programming language such as C# or Go, and user-facing development using React, Angular, and JavaScript.
  • Lens for continuous optimization, automation to drive efficiency, scale, and accuracy.
  • Strong technical skills with continuous learning mindset to develop a deeper understanding of the business.
  • Innovative thinking with a good handle on the latest developments in the tech world is highly preferred.
