As a Technical Software Engineering Manager on our team, you will lead a team of 4 to 8 software engineers to build front-end and back-end software for Project Astra, which is NetApp's new offering delivering end-to-end application data lifecycle management for cloud native applications hosted on Kubernetes clusters. Responsibilities
- Build, grow, and lead a high performing team developing hybrid cloud solutions.
- Provides vision and direction for the development team
- Managing and negotiating product and feature delivery dates
Job Requirements
- Collaborating with architects, product managers, and other product owners on the product vision, and clearly communicates it to assigned teams and stakeholders
- Working closely with UX designers and development leads across a variety of functions to build a consistent and delightful experience across the product
- Organize and lead Agile execution including grooming, effort estimation, standups, acceptance, retrospectives, and other agile ceremonies.
- Provide interface between the development team and stakeholders by representing the stakeholders to the product team and communicating status externally for the team.
Requirements

Education
- Experience in reporting status, challenges, milestones, roadmap, feedback both upwards / pass-downs to the team members
- Take Quality and security into account right from the beginning.
- History of working with an Agile product delivery team
- Excellent problem-solving, interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
- Strong time management, organizational skills, personal accountability, and drive
- 6 years of technical leadership and/or management experience
