JOB DESCRIPTION
Spiffy has developed a full-stack platform to simplify car-ownership by letting you manage your car-care from an easy to use app that is available for iOS and Android. Our platform has been designed and developed in-house to meet the needs of both our customers and our Spiffy Technicians who service vehicles throughout the country.
As a member of the Spiffy Engineering team you will work in the Spiffy World-Wide Headquarters (located in Research Triangle Park, NC) alongside a talented and passionate crew to implement new functionality for the Spiffy suite of applications. You will engage with the product and marketing teams to build cutting-edge products that simplify the car care process. Help us advance our car care platform while having fun and expanding your technical skill set.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Information Systems, Technical Program / Code Bootcamp or comparable work experience
- 3+ Years of Javascript, Ruby on Rails and/or Mobile Development

TECHNICAL SKILLS DESIRED
- Understanding of web development standards including HTML, CSS and JS
- Experience with Ruby on Rails
- Basic data-modeling experience for relational databases (RDBMS)
- Working understanding of RESTful APIs
- Understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies
- Unit Testing and Automated UI Testing
