We’re a remote-first company, and we are fired up about working together to build an innovative new product and company from the ground up, and we are looking for people who are eager to solve interesting technical problems and keep our team growing strong.
About the Role
Arpio has an immediate opening for a Software Engineer to help us build our SaaS offering and advance our roadmap.
The right candidate will have a few years experience building features for a production application, or equivalent experience, be knowledgeable about modern cloud infrastructure, and excited to go deeper with their learning.
This role will work in our core platform, which has a serverless architecture built in Python and Angular, so experience with one or both of those technologies and/or serverless architecture is a plus.
Because we are an early phase company, there is a lot of opportunity for professional growth as the product and the business scale.
About You
- You are knowledgeable about the way computers, networking, and the internet work and are interested in building next gen software for applications running in the cloud
- You are proficient in at least one commercially relevant programming language, such as Java, Python, Ruby, PHP, or Golang.
- You have 2+ years of experience building features for a production application (commercial or open source project).
- You are excited about working at an early stage company and taking on the challenges (and the opportunities) this entails
- You like to solve problems and learn new technologies
- You are collaborative with strong communication skills, but are able to take ownership of a problem and work independently to get the job done
- You are comfortable working in a remote-first environment
