Nugget, a direct-to-consumer kids furniture brand, is looking for a proactive, creative, and highly organized Social Media Manager to develop and manage content as well as engagement on key social media channels. This role combines a passion for photo + video, community building, social media, and a strong understanding of social trends, behaviors, and how they can be translated into engaging, eye-catching content, exemplifying our brand values.   • You’ll partner with Marketing Leaders to define Nugget’s social media vision and strategy - from always-on content and seasonal/product campaigns, to learning agendas and channel allocations - all in service of driving brand discovery and customer engagement.
  • You’ll play a critical role in defining Nugget’s entry/growth strategy in channels such as TikTok, Twitter and Pinterest, including a roadmap with content pillars and resource needs
  • You’ll create content for Instagram and Facebook (and help build out plan / support structure for other platforms like TikTok and Pinterest) - this includes conceptualizing the idea, producing or identifying the right resource to produce it, and writing supporting copy
  • You’ll produce eye-catching Instagram Story content blending video, photo, new effects, etc., ensuring strong engagement and CTR
  • You’ll own day-to-day social media activity including posting, commentary, and reactive content, looking for opportunities to drive engagement and increase followers, channeling our witty, fun-loving, “Nuggety” brand voice.
  • You’ll organize and capture unique content on an ongoing basis from consumers, influencers, and other brands & tastemakers, whether to use as inspiration or to repost to our owned channels
  • You’ll serve as an indirect extension of the Customer Experience team, both supporting them in quickly getting out important information to the Nugget community and getting ahead of any possible challenges to support a holistic and proactive customer experience
  • You’ll interact and engage with our community in our owned channels and beyond, looking for ways to grow consumer love through full end-to-end community management (DM’s, comments on our posts, interaction on other accounts, etc.), in a cheeky, humorous tone that feels distinctly Nugget
  • You’ll design, execute, and share a monthly social media dashboard, reporting on KPI’s and insights to improve our position across all social channels
  • You’ll serve as the social media expert within the company, maintaining a cutting edge understanding of best practices, new KPI’s to track, features, strategies, channels and tactics.
  • You’ll cultivate and maintain relationships with content creators and influencers to strengthen and elevate the Nugget creator network


  • You have 4-6 years of experience in social media marketing roles, including direct experience managing social media accounts for a company

  • You are knowledgeable about digital PR and social marketing, with a solid understanding of how to create engaging experiences and articulate them through a multitude of social, digital and mobile channels

  • You have a strong understanding of social media and the kind of content that drives engagement, as well as a pulse on trending topics, and how to grow a passionate community

  • You are well-versed in social media and digital technologies, constantly informed on industry developments, including consumer trends and new technologies

  • You have experience conceptualizing, giving guidance and executing shoots for daily/evergreen social in an on-going, fast-paced environment

  • You have excellent design aesthetic and eye for detail, with the ability to brainstorm creative ways to translate the brand to social

  • You have experience with influencer marketing programs, seeding products to content creators

  • You have an analytical mind, and are passionate about finding and implementing solutions that will deliver results

  • You are able to assess and anticipate future problems and implement the necessary things to prevent or mitigate problems

  • You approach your work in a flexible, adaptable, and empathetic way, understanding that each team and individual contributor will have unique work styles, and each project will vary in its specific process needs
