**QA Engineer - U.S. based only - remote **
Spoonflower, the world’s largest print on demand platform is seeking a QA Engineer to join our Buyer team, who will be focused on ensuring our web platform meets the best testing practices and standards. We are looking for an experienced and highly collaborative automation engineer that believes in the strength of QA automation and its ability to create robust requirements, increase collaboration and alignment, and ultimately provide a superb customer experience. In addition to automated QA, an aptitude for occasional manual QA will be required as well.

**Roles & Responsibilities **

  • Ensuring product reliability through comprehensive code coverage
  • Write and maintain unit and end to end tests for a suite of services
  • Write and maintain test plans for the engineering team
  • Choose the appropriate testing strategy for a given service
  • Document test strategy and standards
  • Advocate for and maintain test coverage standards inside of and across teams
  • Participate as a member of an agile scrum team, attending ceremonies, participating in requirements gathering, etc.
  • Work closely with the Product Owner and Development team to vet requirements and business logic 
     
    **Experience & Skills **
  • 3+ years in a QA/Test Automation role
  • Proven experience writing and maintaining tests for new and legacy services alike
  • Experience in both front-end/integration and API testing
  • Experience writing test plans, and scoping unit tests
  • Ability to work both independently and alongside a team, as the situation requires
  • Experience across various end-to-end testing frameworks (selenium, playwright, etc)
  • Experience across various unit testing frameworks, primarily jest and react with typescript.
