Our CData Connect Engineering team is growing! We are looking to hire an experienced Senior Software Developer to help build an on-premise version of our Connect Cloud product. We need a new team member who can make an immediate impact. In this role you will be responsible for designing, testing and implementing new software to run in isolated tenant environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong development background and experience with .Net Core.
Location(s):** **North Carolina Research Triangle or East Coast (preferred)
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Collaborate with product management to define and identify innovative solutions for product design.
  • Design and develop, elegant and high-performance solutions for CData's isolated tenant product.
  • In an Agile / Scrum environment contribute by fully engaging with sprint planning, sizing and estimating processes, daily stand-up meetings and retrospectives.
  • Perform tests and debug code.
  • Maintain an attention to detail in all that you do to ensure that CData products are delivered to the highest possible standard of quality.
  • Work with & integrate user feedback to improve CData’s products.
    Qualifications:
  • 8+ years experience developing .Net Web applications, and experience with .NET Core preferred
  • 3+ years experience with Azure a plus
  • Java experience a plus
  • Experience building shippable products that customers run on their own infrastructure
  • Experience with modern application and infrastructure design patterns, including micro-services and containers, disposable, reactive, stateless and distributed patterns
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with limited direction
  • Ability to create components that are modular, scalable, and maintainable
  • Experience conducting code reviews and providing feedback to junior developers
  • Experience analyzing application performance and memory related issues
  • Experience with system architecture or leading a software team is a strong advantage
  • Strong written and communication skills
