The Role:
We are seeking an experienced Automation QA Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our software products meet high standards of quality and reliability through automated testing.
What You Will Do:

  • Develop and maintain automated test suites to validate functional, performance, and reliability requirements of software products
  • Develop and maintain test automation frameworks and tools for both UI and API testing
  • Collaborate with the development team to understand product functionality and ensure that testing covers all functional aspect
  • Analyze and report test results, defects, and issues to project stakeholders
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues, identify root causes, and provide solutions
  • Work with cross-functional teams to identify, prioritize and implement automation initiatives to improve testing efficiencies
  • Continuously evaluate and improve test processes and strategies to ensure that testing is effective, efficient, and reliable
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in software testing and quality assurance
    What You Need to Get the Job Done:
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in automation testing of software products
  • Strong experience in test automation frameworks and tools for UI and API testing (e.g. Selenium, Cypress, Postman, etc.)
  • Proficient in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript
  • Experience with agile development methodologies and tools such as Jira
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on quality and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
