About the role

CloudBees is seeking an enthusiastic Project Manager to join us. In this role, the successful candidate will work closely with teams across the organization to execute strategic and operational improvement opportunities.  As a Project Manager at CloudBees, you'll need to be able to thrive in a fast-paced work environment and be committed to contributing to the company’s success.  This role requires a resourceful individual with very strong communication and organizational skills.

What You'll Do

  • Promote operational excellence and focus across the organization by executing against opportunities to create efficiency, remove obstacles, drive standardization, and improve productivity.
  • Lead, manage, and support cross-functional business and technical projects, initiatives, and commitments.
  • Proactively identify risks and drive resolution of issues that could impact the successful execution of projects, escalate as needed.
  • Facilitate dynamic meetings, coordinate among high-energy participants, and direct toward productive results while maintaining an environment of collaboration, respect, and accountability across every diverse project team.
  • Interface with numerous internal groups (at all levels of management) and quickly form productive and positive working relationships with staff with varying technical and business backgrounds and skill levels.
  • Ability to translate highly technical concepts to executive-level updates.
  • Operate seamlessly across various timezone stretching from Europe to the Pacific.

Typical day-to-day project management responsibilities:

  • Setting and managing scope, project plan creation/management, risk management, escalations, and status reporting across a variety of executive-driven, high-impact initiatives.
  • Organize project information, monitor schedule deviations and assist in the development of alternative methods for corrective action at the project level.
  • Create/execute communication and change management plans, as needed, to ensure key priorities are known, understood and aligned homogeneously.
  • Creation, presentation and distribution of appropriate content to support communications goals.

Role Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in project management or coordination role with cross-functional project teams and leadership interaction.
  • Process-oriented with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Service-oriented to drive results and champion impactful changes.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and exacting quality standards.
  • Responsive and flexible to evolving responsibilities and changing environment; comfortable with ambiguity and highly adaptable.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and collaboration skills with the ability to translate complex problems commensurate with your respective audience.
  • Bachelor's degree in business operations, finance, strategy, or STEM.
  • PMP Certification is considered a plus but not required.

  • Check any documents for poor spelling and grammar – this is often a sign that fraudsters are at work.
  • If they provide a generic email address such as @Yahoo or @Hotmail as a point of contact.
  • You are asked for money, an “administration fee”, “security fee” or an “accreditation fee”.
  • You are asked for cell phone account information.
  • You are asked to cash a check for “equipment” prior to start.
  • You are offered a job offer immediately or without an interview.
