The mission of our ideal Product owner is to break product development initiatives down into stories or actionable chunks of value, and work with the engineering team to implement them and deliver continuous value to our end users.


  • Provide vision and direction to the Agile development team and stakeholders throughout the project
  • Assess value, develop cases, and prioritize stories, epics and themes to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value that are aligned with product strategy
  • Work closely with Product Management to create and maintain a product backlog according to business value or ROI
  • Provide an active role in mitigating impediments impacting successful team completion of Release/Sprint Goals

Essential Functions

  • Create requirements and collect designs, user flows, and stories to define epics for engineering sprints
  • Lead the planning for product release plans and set the expectation for delivery of new functionalities
  • Determine implementation plans for features in the creation phase

Minimal Qualifications

  • 2 years experience as a product owner in the industry
  • Strong knowledge of Agile principles and process
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with Design and Story led product stories

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s in business administration
  • Successful track record of developing products within deadlines
  • Experience with design tools
  • Hands-on experience managing all stages of the product life cycle
