## Role Overview 
As a Principal Salesforce Consultant at Cloud Giants, individuals are expected to have deep knowledge of the Salesforce platform and be able to design and implement solutions from start to finish. You’ll be responsible for leading client engagements, gathering requirements, understanding pain points and creating and managing a plan to resolve challenges and help customers to reach their goals. Working with a team of dedicated Salesforce professionals and partnering closely with our clients, you’ll envision and build game-changing solutions using the latest and greatest features Salesforce has to offer.
This position is located in the Research Triangle Park in North Carolina. Remote candidates also may be considered.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate comes to Cloud Giants with the following skills and qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s degree in a related area and 5-10 years of work experience
  • 3-5 years previous consulting experience
  • Extensive experience with and knowledge of the Salesforce.complatform, process design and object modeling
  • Experience in managing individuals or a small team
  • Ability to build click automation within the Salesforce platform
  • Revenue Cloud (CPQ, Billing, etc.) experience preferred
  • Sales operations and project management experience preferred
  • Collaborates well with a team and able to work individually to find the right solution
  • Holds at least 5 certifications, or able to gain within 30 days of hiring
  • Resourceful and independent thinker
  • Experience with the agile software methodology is a plus
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

Job Responsibilities

Responsible for the design and implementation of solutions from start to finish, the Principal Salesforce Consultant is integral in creating and maintaining a cohesive roadmap for each client engagement.

  • Manage a subset of the Cloud Giants’ client portfolio and consulting team
  • Oversee multiple client engagements - both directly as well indirectly (by providing oversight of all relationships that fall under your team’s responsibility)
  • Collaborate with and delegate to other technical and consulting resources across all projects
  • Provide coaching and performance feedback to members of your team
  • Partner with clients to propose Salesforce roadmaps
  • Gather requirements for, document, design and build solutions to meet client goals and objectives
  • Understand and explain the value proposition of potential features to help clients prioritize
  • Train business users and stakeholders on solutions you build
  • Perform customized administration, data migration, and configuration
  • Act as a subject matter expert for Salesforce releases and related technologies
  • Join sales conversations as a solution engineer to help close sales opportunities
  • Manage projects against deadlines while helping to envision and ensuring successful outcomes
  • Provide design recommendations, guidance and solution quality oversight to other team members
  • Collaborate with the Director and other Principals to make resourcing and client assignment decisions
  • Maintain and manage your team against utilization forecasts
