Description and Requirements
This role is open for Spring (Intern or Co-Op) or Summer 2024.  
Position Description:

Be part of a team leading a rapidly growing WW Business Unit within Lenovo.  Lenovo’s Infrastructure Solutions Group (ISG) organization is currently hiring an OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) Business Operations Intern.  The OEM business model is focused on selling Lenovo ISG products and services to OEM customers who will incorporate them into their solutions, sold to their end customers.  This team operates across various product teams, so you will gain visibility in this role to Server, Edge, and Storage businesses.

The OEM Operations Analyst will be responsible for analyzing the historical trends of our OEM business, as well as understanding business priorities to establish unique Key Performance Indicators to track our business performance. They will also be responsible for developing key reporting to support the ISG OEM business.  This role will have the opportunity for cross team collaboration with Operations, Market Intelligence, Sales, Finance, and Supply Chain.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deep dive into historical results of the OEM Business to understand key trends.
  • Understand future business unit growth priorities.
  • Identify the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) that will be used to measure future business performance.
  • Create an OEM Performance Metric Dashboard that can be used by the leadership team to monitor the business health and performance vs. targets.
  • Participate in business management reviews and highlight risks or potential overachievementopportunities and follow-up with key stakeholder teams to agree on actions to be taken to maximize the business results.
  • May assist in additional projects, as required.

Basic Requirements:

  • Candidates must be pursuing a degree in business or related field.
  • Experience using Excel

Preferred Requirements:

  • Ability to work cross functionally across multiple organizations.
  • Spirit of entrepreneurship requiring high-energy, proactive style, teaming, and collaboration.
  • Good communication and presentation skills with experience using PowerPoint.
  • Quick learner to grasp the business levers that will drive future growth.
  • Power BI experience ideal.
