We are looking for a Full Stack Web Developer with diverse experience in modern web technologies to maintain, extend, and build a wide range of functional web applications.
A successful candidate must have experience designing the front-end user-facing side of applications and back-end program logic and database interaction. In addition, the ideal candidate will be skilled in modern web application development and be capable of contributing heavily to the support of existing sites/applications and the development of greenfield projects.
Applicants should be familiar with the modern web stack, Microsoft web and cloud technologies (
ASP.NET and Azure deployment), and show relevant prior work examples.
What you will do
- Support the modernization of large-scale web applications.
- Provide updates and maintenance for existing applications.
- Ensure software documentation is updated
- Leverage your development experience to increased innovation and team velocity.
- Act as Technical Lead for Web development and technologies in defining requirements, development and maintenance projects
- Work with designers, communicators, and marketers to analyze the feasibility and efficacy of websites and web application projects
- Oversees various aspects of primary web properties including, but not limited to, code, content, structure, and graphics
- Work with design teams to create a cohesive User Experience (UX) for websites that meet the needs of multiple end-user platforms (e.g. desktop, tablet, smartphone, etc.)
- Utilizes current industry-accepted standards, best-practices, and tools to develop accessible, sustainable, and scalable code and products
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience/education/training).
- 3+ years in Web application development (both front-end and back-end)
- 3+ years in Software – NodeJS, .NET, Azure, Redhat, Apache
- 3+ years in Languages – Javascript, Typescript, C#, SQL, PHP, HTML5, CSS, LESS
- Advanced knowledge of HTML / JavaScript / CSS and current web standards
- Intermediate knowledge of .Net Framework / C#
- The ability to perform full stack debugging and troubleshooting
- Experience using repositories like GIT and/or SVN
- Ability to write clean code and document your work effectively
- Ability to analyze requirements to produce a realistic level of effort
- Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) are required.
- Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Ideal candidates would also have
- Experience with Static Site Generators (Gatsby, Nextjs, etc)
- Experience with Azure configuration and management
- Experience with Node / NPM
- Experience developing sites that utilize a Headless CMS (e.g. Contenful, DatoCMS, Sanity.io, Storyblock, Kontent, etc.)
- Experience developing sites in traditional CMS a plus (Kentico, Wordress, Sitefinity, Drupal, etc).
