Description
We help cities manage the curb by measuring how it's used. We're building an end-to-end solution with proprietary solar & cellular cameras, computer vision, data processing, analysis & visualization, and business logic to generate and deliver curb space occupancy data to customers via a web-app and API. A background in hardware is not necessary, though a background in data engineering and building analytics products is preferred.
To ensure success as a full stack developer at Vade, you should demonstrate proficiency in web-application front end development, be comfortable developing in python and have a sound understanding of REST API → Front End interactions.
Full Stack Developer Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deploy Web Apps to interface existing API endpoints

  • This includes implementing drag/drop mapping services (like MapBox)

  • Develop and deploy City/Customer facing CRUD/Admin Web Apps to present the Vade parking data

  • Develop backend API endpoints that may be consumed by for your client-side Web Apps

  • Work in a fast paced environment with autonomy

  • Take wireframe to functional product

  • Work for functionality first, bells and whistles come later

  • Create updates, including bug fixes and additional features, for release.

  • Adhere to best practices for source code control and problem ticket tracking.
    Requirements

  • Proficiency in one or more Javascript based web frame work (Vue.js, React.js, etc.).

  • Ability to closely follow wireframes and develop web application

  • HTML / CSS experience

  • Have built and deployed at least 1 presentable and functional web app

  • 1+ year Python experience

  • Github

  • SDLC

  • Understanding of basic web app security

  • Excellent coding and proofreading skills

  • Top-notch teamwork and communication skills

  • Ability to manage your workload with minimal supervision

  • Unwavering curiosity

  • Undergraduate Degree preferred
