About the Role
As our first dedicated Front-End Developer, you will play a critical role in the design, development, and testing of Arpio’s SaaS web applications.

Responsibilities

  • Architect and develop new and existing user-facing components of our SaaS web applications
  • Define and set the technical design for the user-interface, keeping in mind user experience and efficient software development design
  • Identify and fix bugs to maintain the reliability of current systems
  • Leverage your expertise in UI and UX design to optimize the Arpio user experience
  • Advise the larger team on front-end development and product strategy decisions

What We’re Looking For

  • You have 5+ years of experience as a Software Developer with a focus on front-end development, preferably for SaaS products using a modern, component-based web stack like Angular, React, Vue, etc. (we use Angular)
  • You have natural empathy for your users, and a desire to deliver a first-class customer experience
  • You have the ability to take on a leadership role in advocating for best practices around front-end development, UX, and testing
  • You are comfortable with the fast-paced, agile environment of an early stage company and excited about the opportunities it presents
  • You are comfortable working with a distributed team, and are able to proactively communicate and collaborate with peers to remove roadblocks and progress your work

  • Experience creating wireframes, mockups, and other design assets
  • Experience working at a startup
