Written Word Media has an immediate need for a full-time Digital Operations Coordinator to join our team! If you are interested in online operations, email marketing, and books or media, this job is for you. This is a perfect opportunity to gain valuable experience in digital  operations, email marketing and people management. Training is provided for all candidates.

Here’s what you will do

  • Oversee scheduling of the Operations team production workload, including the creation of PTO and holiday schedules
  • Work with Digital Operations Manager to create, maintain, and communicate the customer service master schedule, including the live chat schedule
  • Run reports on various metrics related to the Operations department
  • Hiring and management of our internship program
  • Creation of daily deal emails for eBooks that go out to thousands of readers every day
  • Provide customer service to Written Word Media customers
  • Extend inventory for all brands weekly
  • Ensure social media inboxes are checked and responded to promptly
  • Maintain advertising inventory system by updating available inventory, entering data for books, running ad hoc analysis, and processing payments
  • Take over the management of at least one full-time direct report in your first 9-12 months

  • Be a self-starter with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced deadline-oriented environment.
  • Be highly efficient with a track record of getting tasks done with low error rates.
  • Have a positive, team player attitude.
  • Have terrific writing and editing skills.
  • Be comfortable with technology and the web.

This is a full-time position that requires the candidate to work remotely 5 days per week with occasional in-person meetings. Some weekend work will be required. Total hours will be approximately 40 per week. We are open to flexible arrangements if someone wants to work weekends and have weekdays off.
