The Data Development, Insights & Strategy [DDIS] team is driving a digital-first execution and transformation at Red Hat by leveraging data strategically for our customers, partners, and associates. Ablity to work Hybrid in Raleigh NC, Boston MA or Westford MA is highly preferred.

Within DDIS, the Data Strategy and Compliance team is seeking an experienced Data Domain Specialist who will play a pivotal role in leveraging data to enhance our marketing, partner ecosystem, and sales GTM (go-to-market) strategy through data management, insightful data analysis and domain expertise. The ideal candidate will blend strong data management and analytical skills with excellent communication and collaboration skills and a strong drive to be innovative & creative

What you will do

Data Management, Integration, Analysis and Insights:

  • Conduct in-depth analysis of 1st party and 3rd party data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities and to provide actionable insights for GTM planning, audience targeting and performance optimization.

  • Oversee the organization, integration and management of GTM data assets in the enterprise data environment to provide a holistic view of customer behavior.

  • Collaborate with data engineers to ensure data integrity, accuracy and reliability of 1st party and 3rd party data.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand key priorities, business use cases and implement end-to-end data-driven processes.

  • Maintain accuracy and completeness of data through operational monitoring, validation and reporting.

Partner Ecosystem, Sales and GTM Segmentation Support:

  • Utilize data insights to support opportunities for expanding and strengthening partner relationships.

  • Work closely with the Partner Management team to develop data-driven strategies for partner onboarding, engagement, and performance evaluation.

  • Collaborate with the partner marketing teams on partner data capture, quality and enrichment projects which improve the availability of standard quality Partner Marketing data for users.

  • Collaborate with the sales teams to drive adoption of data insights to respond to market trends, customer behaviors, and potential growth opportunities.

  • Collaborate with GTM teams to define target audience segments based on data-driven insights.

  • Partner with Marketing technology teams to ensure availability of data used to build, manage and activate segments in the platforms.

Cross-functional Collaboration and Continuous Improvement:

  • Work closely with marketing, partner ecosystem, sales, and data engineering teams to align strategies and ensure cohesive execution.

  • Provide domain expertise to support the development of data services and data products.

  • Utilize data visualization tools to communicate insights effectively to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Stay informed about industry best practices and emerging technologies in data analytics and marketing.

  • Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance data-driven decision-making.

  • Maintain and expand knowledge on current and future Marketing data sources and insights used to support GTM segmentation.

What you will bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Analytics, Data Science, or related field.

  • Proven experience in a data specialist role with a focus on marketing, partner ecosystem, and sales.

  • Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques.

  • Ability to work Hybrid in Raleigh NC, Boston MA or Westford MA

  • Extensive experience in data management, data architecture, data analytics, or related fields. Master data management experience is a plus.

  • Experience with data querying using SQL within enterprise data platforms such as Starburst, Snowflake and Amazon Redshift.

  • Strong knowledge of marketing technologies and platforms including 6sense, Demandbase and the Adobe suite.

  • Familiarity with marketing automation platforms (e.g. Marketo), customer relationship platforms (e.g. Salesforce), account insight tools and partner management tools.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across diverse teams, with the ability to translate complex data insights into actionable recommendations.

  • Knowledge of industry trends and emerging technologies in the marketing and sales domain.

The salary range for this position is $101,380- $136,895. Actual offer will be based on your qualifications.

Pay Transparency

Red Hat determines compensation based on several factors including but not limited to job location, experience, applicable skills and training, external market value, and internal pay equity. Annual salary is one component of Red Hat’s compensation package. This position may also be eligible for bonus, commission, and/or equity. For positions with Remote-US locations, the actual salary range for the position may differ based on location but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
