We're in search of an enthusiastic and highly-independent Account Executive to join our enterprise sales operations at Pocket Prep. The ideal candidate is a dedicated professional who is eager to take on a wide range of sales responsibilities within our small-but-mighty organization.

About the Role:

As an Account Executive at Pocket Prep, you'll spearhead our efforts to increase student engagement and pass rates for our Enterprise-level customers. In collaboration with internal teams, you'll focus on our Dashboard product to enhance educational outcomes. Your goal is to identify, engage, and nurture relationships within the higher education sector, guiding the sales process from lead generation to successful deal closure. You can expect to do some lead prospecting as we work to refine and expand our Sales Ops function.

What you will do:

  • Execute and refine sales strategies that embody our company values and drive quota attainment
  • Develop and manage the sales pipeline to ensure a steady flow of opportunities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for a comprehensive understanding of Pocket Prep's offerings
  • Master product functionalities to effectively showcase our value to educational institutions
  • Manage the sales cycle from initiation to closure, generating a predictable pipeline
  • Provide regular sales forecasts and reports to support strategic planning
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships via creative problem-solving and student advocacy
  • Stay informed on industry trends and competitor activities to adapt sales strategies accordingly
  • Represent Pocket Prep at educator-based conferences, seeking new business opportunities
  • Continuously improve sales techniques in line with our innovative and value-driven approach

Required Skills/Experience

  • Prior experience in EdTech and/or SaaS environments highly valued
  • A minimum of four (4) years of sales experience
  • Flexibility to travel to our office(s) to engage with our teams
  • Proficiency in HubSpot and a strong grasp of outbound sales best practices
  • High emotional intelligence and resilience
  • Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently
  • Demonstrated understanding of the role's requirements and the drive and capacity to fulfill them
